The Roos performed at the SL Christmas Expo, sold clothing to benefit the American Cancer Society at our Lorewear store and did some event hosting. We were proud to be part of an event that raised US$24,000 to fund virtual reality headsets for children undergoing cancer treatments.

The Roos' Lorelei Flow was the most dedicated lap walker (err... rider) at the 2019 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk raising US$64.

In October, the Roos were proud to perform twice at the 2019 Rock Your Rack event which raised US$13,000 for the fight against breast cancer.

In 2019 the Roos launched their Relay For Life of Second Life team. We had a fantastic time holding events and attending other teams' events. Much to our surprise we achieved 'Jade' fundraising status by raising US$2,300 (L$575,000) for the American Cancer Society during the season. We were shocked and humbled when we were honoured with the highest accolade we can think of, the 'Spirit of Relay - Team' award, at the closing ceremony.

Performing as DJ Kayla and the Kangaroos, the Roos made their first appearance at an American Cancer Society event at the SL Christmas Expo in December 2018.
